I AM A SPIRITUAL GANGSTER
Kerri Walsh Jennings
You don’t have to be a Beach Volleyball legend or Olympic Hall of Famer to be a Spiritual Gangster. In fact, it’s Kerri’s practices off the court that cultivate her sense of passion, resilience, optimism, and courage—the heart of every Spiritual Gangster.
Certified Spiritual Gangster
Kerri Walsh Jennings is one of the most decorated athletes in beach volleyball history. A three-time Olympic gold medalist (2004, 2008, 2012) and bronze medalist (2016), she holds the record for the most career victories in both international and domestic beach volleyball, with 135 wins.
From the Olympic stage to her daily self-care, Kerri embodies the essence of a Spiritual Gangster in mind, body, and spirit. Together, we’re introducing our newest Angel Numbers capsule and celebrating what it means to move with love, authenticity, and purpose—divinely guided, deeply grounded.
Kerri's Path to High Vibrational Living
A master of raising her vibration, Kerri says, "When I studied the greats, because I want to be a ‘great,’ what I learned is that the best leaders—the people who kick ass and keep kicking ass, the people who influence positively—are the people who lead themselves first."
Moving mindfully, eating nourishing food, and thinking good thoughts are all part of how she curates her inner environment. With the spirit of a champion, Kerri pursues greatness in herself daily, inspiring the next generation to do the same. "Being ambitious and wanting to be excellent is not a bad thing. Being competitive is not a bad thing. If you want more of yourself, if you want to feel better in your body, if you want to feel more connected, you connect with yourself first. You ask yourself who you want to be."
"To me, a Spiritual Gangster is someone who lives for the moment they’re in."
Kerri explains, "They love their lives and have the courage to express themselves as fully and as truly as possible. They live in optimism, a virtue of warriors, and they live with heart, and fire, and conviction for whatever is sincerely meaningful to them."
What makes her most proud to be a Spiritual Gangster?
"Spiritual Gangsters wink at challenges, have reverence for the hero’s journey, and inspire others to live on purpose—not because of what they do, but because of HOW they do it. SGs are bad MOFOs, not because they’re “spiritual” or because they’re “gangster,” but because they know who they are and they do their best in every moment—to show up with all of themselves."
How to show up in the moment? Kerri recommends breathwork: "If you can own your breath, then you can be in the moment. And If you can be in the moment, everything you’ve earned—all of your wisdom, all of your love, everything that’s good and true—is there, in the moment."
"Because Spiritual Gangsters live their priorities consistently, they are embodied—they are grounded, yet they soar. They know how to dance with what’s in front of them with clear eyes, faith in their hearts, and a knowing that they lack nothing…even when their voice is shaky and they're walking in the unknown."
"When I get dressed, I wear things that I’m comfortable in that make me feel like a badass because I truly do want to win every day."
Even Gold Medalists Have Angel Numbers
"I used to only like two numbers in my life. I only liked #1 because that’s what I wanted to be. And I liked #9 as well because that’s the number of completion. Michael Jordan was #9 in the Olympics and Mia Hamm, and they’re my heroes. But I learned to love each number because they represent something different in the hero’s journey."
