Morning Meditation
How we begin each morning affects our entire day, and the same is true of each season. Begin summer with intention and light—grounded, steady, and nourished. Set aside time on solstice to awaken with the sun. Start by grounding, placing barefoot feet to earth (sidewalk, grass, sand, or even soil) and take a few deep breaths. As you breathe, practice noticing nature with each of your senses. Maybe try a simple box breath pattern to steady energy and awaken presence: Inhale for 4, hold for 4, exhale for 4, hold for 4. The goal is to get outside, set an intention, and connect with your mind and body.
Evening Movement
Celebrate the longer days by soaking up more time in community—and in nature. Invite neighbors and friends into sacred movement together, no matter the pace. Movement as simple as a neighborhood walk, sunset slow flow, or group hike reconnect us with the joy of shared presence while taking advantage of all Mother Earth has to offer this season.
