Reawaken Your Goddess
In celebration of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, we hosted friends at Canyon Ranch in Tucson, Arizona for a special weekend of energizing movement and meaningful connection meant to reawaken our inner goddesses.
Your highest self is already within you.
But how do you embrace her power to become your fullest and truest self? We shared a weekend in community filled with movement, ritual, and reflection to explore how we invite our goddess energy forward. Your energy is sacred. Creative. Empathetic. Magnetic. Intuitive. Vulnerable. Powerful. The divine feminine contains multitudes, all ready to be rediscovered.
Welcome these wellness practices in and watch your inner goddess unfold:
Release
Before you begin, create space for a sacred ceremony, centering your mind and body with a few minutes of deep breathing, journaling, or meditation. Pay attention to what you're wearing, where you're sitting, and what's around for a distraction-free practice.
Practices:
— Open your heart and mind. What lessons have you learned recently? Honor them.
— Reflect on the past week(s). What is no longer serving you? What feels outdated or unaligned? Release these.
— What are your intentions going forward? Create statements in the present-tense for effective affirmations.
— Visualize the moment when your intentions are realized. How do you feel in your body?
Rest and Renew
After intention setting, we welcomed a state of deep relaxation. Good news, the air mattress and swimming pool are optional!
Simply lie down in a relaxed position and listen to a sound bath playlist wherever you stream music or find a practitioner on YouTube. Hint: try headphones for the most immersive experience!
Restore
Our Yoga in the Wild session invited a deeper sense of grounded presence by anchoring our movement practice in nature. From hiking trails in the Sonoran Desert to yoga flows in the sun, every breath of fresh air honored the goddess within, made stronger in connection with Mother Earth.
Practice Tips:
— Find a local hike or outdoor walking trail with a flat or open area that fits you and your mat
— Practice barefoot on grass or sand to enhance your sensory experience and deepen your connection to nature
— Flow in the sunlight, offering a naturally heated session while harnessing nature's medicine and mood boosting vitamins
Revive
Your inner goddess knows no inhibitions. Let her energy run wild and free through dance. Move your body and embrace your divine feminine power—creative, vibration, and magnetic.
— Which set feels the most you? Dress in whatever makes you feel the most magnetic.
— Put on that song. You know the one!
— Now just move! Remember to breathe in your vitality and exhale any hesitation.
— Let your thoughts melt away and allow your body move to the rhythm in whatever way feels natural, energizing, and joyful. Release instructions—there is no right or wrong here.
Recenter
To close, we shared words of affirmation with one another to uplift spirits and shine a light on the inner goddess within each of us. By strengthening our bonds with each other, we strengthen our own self-love.
