Equinox Energy: A Morning of Moon Magic

As summer's last fire met autumn's first hush, we gathered at the Proper Hotel to welcome the Autumn Equinox and the Harvest Full Moon. It was a morning held between two seasons, tender and electric all at once. We softened, we savored, and we let the energy rise, together, in honor of our Moon Magic capsule.

Full Moon Magic with the Proper Hotel

We welcomed the Autumn Equinox and the Harvest Full Moon with a morning at the Proper Hotel, as a celebration in alignment with our Moon Magic capsule. Just as the equinox asks us to hold the last of summer's fire with the first hush of autumn, this was a moment that brought those feelings to life. Tender and electric all at once. We softened into a sound bath, sipped matcha, shared a meal in community and let the energy rise with DJs, Manna and Jordan.

Softening Into Sound, Rising Into Rhythm

Under a cloud-covered morning, sound healer, Napualani Hall, led us into a sound bath that invited us to soften, settle, and simply be. Then the energy shifted. Beats by DJ Manna and Jordan brought the room to its feet, and stillness turned into a high-energy dance party. Matcha from Matcha Dachi kept us sipping and glowing, and the Moon Magic collection found its way into the hands of our community. But the real magic was each other. Time spent sharing space, laughter, and connection, tender and electric all at once.

Gathered Around the Table

As the morning softened into afternoon, the energy shifted again, this time into something quieter and more intimate. We sat down to lunch with our muses, sharing time around the table and settling into the kind of conversation that only happens when everyone feels held. Then Sydney Burger guided us through prompts to bring intention to the equinox, asking two simple questions: what do we want to harvest, and what do we want to compost? Between the laughter and the listening, each of us made space to name what we're ready to gather, and what we're ready to release.
