You know when you're in the presence of a free soul, simply because you feel truly good when you are around them. That's exactly how we felt when we worked with celebrity chef, health guru, and glowing yogini Candice Kumai. She simply radiates good energy, and is happiest when she is sharing her self-love mentality and deliciously nourishing recipes. 

With the launch of her newest book CLEAN GREEN EATS, we asked her to share her favorite recipes to stay cool and sweet all summer long. 


Anti-Inflammatory Smoothie
Serves 3; yields 30 ounces


1 1⁄2 frozen bananas
3⁄4 cup frozen blueberries
3⁄4 frozen blackberries
11⁄2 cups unsweetened almond milk
1 teaspoon bee pollen
1⁄4 cup raw walnuts
1 teaspoon spirulina powder (optional)

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
